As I continue to grow and develop as a designer 🌠 I’m deeply commited to decolonising design practices, challenging traditional narratives and fostering diversity in the field. Young Mayors Program
         The Young Mayors program provides young individuals with an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on their local community. Through comprehensive training, mentoring, and funding for local projects and campaigns, Youth Councils are empowered not only to have a voice but also to take proactive action. The young council members, who are elected by their peers, collaborate to identify priority action areas. Over a term lasting 12-24 months, the youth council works in tandem with their local council to implement projects, organise events, and influence decisions that have a direct impact on their community.
        In my role, I primarily focus on creating illustrations that effectively communicate information related to the Young Mayors program. Additionally, I work closely with the Senior Designer to develop a comprehensive Brand Guideline, ensuring visual consistency and coherence across all materials and communications.
